Take Back the Night is the earliest worldwide effort to combat sexual violence and violence against women. In the 70’s, the issue of violence against women became a topic of public conversation when a number of incidents garnered media attention. Today, with that same idea in mind, we encourage community members to show their support for victims and survivors of sexual violence by believing that we should all be able to "just live" without the fear of sexual violence.
Rape Crisis challenges advocates to join our social media campaign by posting a picture of an activity where you are "just living" with the hashtag #tbtdtogether.
Together we will create a community free from sexual violence.
